Barefoot shoes
Walking barefoot is good for you. The average shoe is bad because it squishes your toes together, provides too much cushioning, and has a raised heel. This throws off your balance, leads to weak feet muscles, and messes with your posture.
"But I have to wear shoes!", I hear you shouting from behind your screen. Yes, I know. Luckily for us, there are barefoot shoes, designed to give you the same feel as being barefoot, just as the name implies. They have flexible soles, wide toe boxes that allow your toes to spread, and flat soles ("zero drop"). These features avoid the problems of typical shoes.
There are barefoot shoes in nearly every style. Sandals, sneakers, boots, you name it. I wear Freet Talus 3 shoes, and love them.

Other brands that I have heard good reviews about are Xero, Altra, VivoBarefoot, and Tolos. No matter the brand you buy from, look for shoes that are zero drop, have a wide toe box, and a flexible sole. Your feet will thank you.
